In our first product update of 2025, we’re rolling out key updates to make multi-location fulfilment seamless. Retailers can now provide customers with clear visibility on split shipments, ensuring they know exactly what’s arriving and when. Plus, our upgraded Cin7 Omni integration now supports fulfilment from distribution branches, making inventory management more efficient.
In case you missed it during the 2024 peak retail season, we've also added enhancements for on-demand delivery and palletised freight, helping you streamline operations and improve fulfilment speed.
What’s new
A unified tracking experience for your split shipments
Managing split shipments can be a challenge when stock is distributed across multiple warehouses, items have special delivery requirements, or availability constraints require multiple fulfilments. Without clear tracking, customers are left guessing when their order will arrive, leading to frustration and increased support queries.

Shippit's latest update eliminates uncertainty with a smarter split order tracking experience. Receivers now see a clear breakdown of what’s arriving now, and what’s coming next, with:
- Smart tracking for split orders: Shippit’s new Group Order ID links multiple shipments, so you and your customers always know when an order is arriving in more than one delivery.
- A unified tracking experience: Our tracking page displays all shipments in one view, with clear delivery estimates and a clean, organised interface.
- Proactive customer updates: Customers are notified as each shipment is dispatched and delivered, and receive a final confirmation when everything has arrived.
You can create a split order using the group order API endpoint, and the great news for Fluent customers is that your split shipments will automatically be updated with the new tracking experience!

Fulfil from multiple distribution branches with Cin7 and Shippit
Great news for Cin7 Omni distribution branch users! We’ve updated our Cin7 Omni integration to support distribution branches. With the latest update, orders assigned to a distribution branch in Cin7 Omni are automatically synced to the associated Shippit store.
This ensures that you can ship from multiple fulfilment locations, as well as distribution branches, all while keeping your Cin7 Omni stock levels accurate as orders are fulfilled and delivered. Orders without a distribution branch will default to the main sales order branch as usual.

Live tracking for your Uber deliveries
With two in three customers willing to pay for on-demand delivery options, fast delivery is no longer reserved for restaurants and hospitality.
We’ve made it easier for eCommerce retailers to manage on-demand pickup and drop-offs with real-time tracking. Our new webhook allows us to pass through all raw tracking information from Uber, so you can power live tracking experiences and give your teams the visibility they need for smoother dispatch.
