Empower shoppers to gift-give with confidence and make it easier for your team to process returns. Shippit’s self-serve Returns Portal is now available to all merchants across Australia, New Zealand, and South-East Asia.
You can now offer in-store returns via the portal to give customers more return options and reduce return delivery costs for your business. Additionally, your customers can select their refund method via the portal and submit multiple return requests per order.
If you are using Shopify or Magento, the returns portal is ready to activate on your account and you can get started here.
We’ve also added the ability to plug into our Returns Portal via a custom integration. For more information about the Custom Returns API, see our developer documentation.

Auto-update store hours
Update your store opening hours this peak season without worrying about missed collections. Our API now supports real-time synchronisation of store operating hours, allowing you to bypass manual updates across store locations to ensure accurate pickup times for delivery drivers.

All your shipping directly in Netsuite!
Our new embedded NetSuite integration offers a seamless shipping experience directly within your NetSuite environment. A great time-saver just as peak volumes start coming in! Orders are updated in real-time between Shippit and NetSuite, ensuring accurate tracking and pricing information is always accessible..

Safeguard your deliveries this peak with self-serve carrier control
With 1 in 2 shoppers leaving a brand after a poor delivery experience, safeguard your deliveries this busy peak season. More carriers are now available in the carrier settings of the Shippit UI. Configure and enable the carriers that meet your needs in time for peak, and turn them on and off with a flick directly from the carrier settings page.

Exceed your on demand delivery expectations this peak
With a 300% increase in on demand deliveries from 2023 to 2024, we’re making it easier to manage on demand pickup and drop-offs, just in time for the season of gift-giving!
- We’ve added an additional webhook for real-time tracking data from Uber to give your customers and staff the updates they need for seamless hand-off.
- To support pickup and dropoff verification in Shippit, the label number generated in the QR code for Uber can now be set up to reflect Shippit’s tracking number instead of the courier tracking number.

Peak pick and pack efficiency
Our enhanced Pick and Pack settings page now offers a streamlined user interface, allowing you to configure package allocation based on both dimensions and weight directly within your settings.
For even more control over your package allocation, you can now set fallback presets for cases where dimensions are missing, providing a safety net for efficient order processing.
These improvements will help you reduce shipping costs and unnecessary errors for a smoother customer experience during the busiest time of the year.

Reduce your peak paperwork with Shippit and Fluent
We’ve upgraded the Fluent Commerce and Shippit integration to give you more precise control over your dispatch operations. Our latest update allows you to separate picking and packing from delivery manifests, so your staff can batch ready-to-ship orders under a single manifest, for delivery collection.

Save dispatchers precious time and optimise own fleet use
Shippit NowGo customers can now automatically schedule recurring shifts. Dispatchers can now skip manual CSV updates for standard and scheduled deliveries and make sure that a shift with drivers from your own fleet is always ready for quoting and allocation. This new feature is perfect for customers who are not yet API-integrated or have a branch-managed own fleet.

Ship pallets with Shippit and PeopleVox
PeopleVox and Shippit customers can optimise their critical store-to-store and warehouse transfers this peak season. Our integration now supports pallets as a package type, so your teams can save time by automatically generating pallet-specific orders, labels, and manifests, ensuring accurate handling for pallets.
